About the project

The project includes 5 schools from 5 different countries - GR, IT,RO, PL, TR. And is applicable to students aged 9-13 years. This project results from of the analysis of the specific needs of the students carried out in all partner schools. As a working group on this project we discussed and came across four problems that can be discussed and solved so as to be successful in school: 1. Lack of social inclusion 2. Lack of basic social skills 3. Lack of parental support 4. Lack of social and economic conditions The five partner schools carried out a needs analysis taking into account the viewpoint of the teachers and their counselors. We took into consideration and evaluated these 4 obstacles. As a result the following conclusions were made: Most students in Greecel don’t have the problem with social inclusion or basic skills but they lack parental support and have specific social needs. That is why they require help in this direction. Other schools detect the number four obstacle as their main problem. In Italian and Polish schools, the basic problems which prevent pupils from achieving school success are "lack of social inclusion and basic skills". "Lack of basic skills as well as lack of parental support and socio-economic needs" is realized as the main cause of failure in Romanian and Turkish schools. In addition, each one of the schools have good practice in its school curriculum, which can be seen in the referent sections. Teachers will monitor these good practices, share, evaluate and provide them. These four problems are the main topic of our project. We will not only meet, apply new strategies, and discuss the problems of our students during these two years, but also promote entertainment activities. The project actually aims to achieve real results and solutions for the students of the mentioned problems.
